The convergence of technology and
changing needs can be VERY confusing!
It doesn't have to be that way! On October 1, 2009, a small group of people met near Louisville, KY for the purpose of finalizing a new generation of mobile communications, command and control, and mobile data products. This concluded the original objective of reinventing business, institutional, and governmental electronics. The result was an alliance of combined skills and capabilities with a family of products known as SDR Plus.
In the minds of many, SDR is an abbreviation for Software Defined Radio. While our new products include traditional SDR technology, the real meaning, as we define it, is Superbly Distinctive Results. These results advance integrated voice, data, and video specialization to a whole new level of practical and affordable technology for those we serve.
Several non-competing manufacturers are participating in the SDR project as well as marketing associates and selected local channel resellers throughout the USA and internationally. Falcon Direct serves as the administrative coordinator for the group known as the SDR Alliance. We are privileged to serve in this capacity and looking forward to serving YOU!
To address these new needs, we are delighted to introduce the latest in practical technology known as CoPilot Plus, EXTender, I-Box, PowerTenna, and SmartCam plus a whole new way of looking at 2-way radio. These new products, especially designed for the needs of public safety users, will be described individually in the information that follows. We call them unique. You’ll call them fantastic!
